Sound Environments 2023: annual music programme returns to Paediatric Critical Care at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital

We believe that every child should have access to musical opportunities in life, and that music can help children and families at challenging times. Thanks to the ongoing support of Eleanor Aston and the team in Paediatric Critical Care at RMCH, we will be able to continue to deliver regular music sessions as part of our ongoing Sound Environments programme to children and families on PICU and HDU units, with the support of play leader Polly. Our sessions will begin again in March, we are looking forward to another year of working closely with staff and families to help support children facing challenging circumstances through music.

"Thank you so much for the beautiful song. We love it…It meant THE most to us that you did this for us" - Parent, PICU.
