Celebrating the completion of another successful Short Breaks project in the Salford community!

We have come to the end of another fantastic Short Breaks project – Songbirds Musical Breaks - working in the Salford community delivering remote sensory music workshops. The project is funded by Salford CVS with support from Salford City Council and we work with families from Salford with a child with complex needs, limited communication and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)

This is the 2nd year of delivering the Short Breaks project and we continue to be inspired by all the wonderful children and their families we have worked with. The Short Break Care fund and its continuation funding has enabled our organisation to make invaluable links and partnerships with organisations and services in Salford. Working so closely with the families and the comprehensive feedback we have received over the last 2 years have been invaluable in the continued development of our remote offer of music-making activity for families with children with complex needs.
